Forever My Always

So, I have been absent from the blogging world lately but it was our anniversary today and I wish to tell you all about it. :)

Kameron and I have a lot of favorite restaurants. Maybe too many...but there is one that tends to always end up at the top of that list.

Tucanos.

Oooohhhhh Tucanos. I have a love-hate relationship with this place. The food is so, so good. But...I ALWAYS, without fail, every single time, eat way more than I should because I just can't stop. If you've never been there, basically you get a huge salad bar with so much more than salad and then men come to your table with a variety freshly grilled meats and grilled pineapple. (I ate so much garlic steak, it's a little ridiculous). And they don't stop bringing it by until you tell them to stop. And don't even get me started on the Brazilian lemonade. The point is, if Kameron wasn't in my life (heaven forbid) and it was somehow possible to marry a restaurant, I would marry Tucanos.

What was my point? Oh yeah. Anniversary. We ate at Tucanos and it was delicious and both us felt like bursting which is wonderful and so terrible at the same time. I took no pictures because I was too busy stuffing my face with food like it was my last meal.

Next, we headed down to Provo Beach Resort. Kameron and I had been trying to figure out what to do for our anniversary for a long time. I'm all about the romantic dates, the getaways, all that, but really...Kameron and I are kids at heart and wanted to do something active and fun this year (and keep it in a lower price range). I came across a Groupon for PBR and it sounded perfect! We got to go bowling (I beat Kam twice), play some miniature croquet (surprisingly very fun), play a bunch of arcade games, and finally do the Flowrider.

Holy Flowrider, Batman.

It was so much fun! I was terrible at the stand-up board thing, but the boogie board was a blast. We got to spend our hour with a group of young boys, probably like 10-year-olds, who were at a birthday party. It was hilarious to watch them all do it. One poor kid probably only weighed like 75 pounds and flew right to the top every time. It was so fun!

We ended the night by getting some frozen yogurt (froyo, as the kids call it) and now Kam is fast asleep and I will soon join him. That Flowrider took a lot out of me and I'm exhausted. I guess we're an old married couple now that goes to bed at 9:30. Oh well. :)

Picture time!

Mini Croquet. I got creamed.

This is when Kameron won a free game even though we had unlimited games.

I won this little duckie in the arcade. :)

Here are a bunch of Flowrider pictures. Neither of us feel they are very flattering (it's hard to look good when you're trying to stay on!), so I made them all conveniently small. I just want you to have a sense of what it was. :)
Menchies! Ice Cream Sandwich flavored. So good!

While all the activities we did were fun, I really had the most fun because of who I spent my day with. I am so happy being with him and so grateful for all he does for me. He works so hard and still manages to find ways to make me feel appreciated and happy. I made a wonderful choice two years ago when I married him and I grow to love him more every day.

I chose my love and I love my choice.

Happy anniversary, Kam. I'll love you forever and always. :)
